The beautiful couple met 8 years ago in Newcastle when Lizzie was a freshman at university, and before they knew it they were as one. They moved to London and back to NC taking long and short breaks in between to travel the globe with family and friends. It was five years ago when they first set foot on Mykonos and kept coming back every summer, knowing the island of the winds just had to be their wedding destination. We love exploring cultures and foods, and Mykonos speaks to our soul- we feel at home here! the bride confesses.

The day began in delicious fashion details and Lizzie’s gifts to her bridesmaids; weaved baskets with pom-pons chockful of skin products and fashionable raffia pouches. After popping a bottle of bubbly and toasting by the pool, Lizzie slipped into her Berta wedding gown and, escorted by her dad, headed down the aisle to marry her beloved.

As for the party that followed, Lizzie said: Our priorities were definitely to enjoy every single minute with all of our friends & family that have traveled across the world to celebrate with us. We wanted everyone to have the best and biggest party possible! I wanted to make sure everyone would be dancing from the start, that the drinks would keep flowing and that our people would take in all Mykonos had to give.
